Weekend wrap up

This weekend was packed with activity. As usual L had hockey practice on Saturday morning the biggest difference was I had to take both kids by myself since D had a dentist appointment we scheduled months ago. I was worried about having to deal with M and get L dressed but it went super smoothly! L was thrilled when instead of the regular drills/activities they played "a real game" (his words when he got off the ice). They divided all the kids up and had 5 scrimmage games going on. It was so neat to watch L do his thing. While he did not score any goals he did have a few shots on goal and managed to stay on his feet most of the time. I was sad that D was not there and of course I had my camera but left the memory card at home so no pictures or videos, boo. After practice we headed home for baths, lunch and naps. L got to tell daddy all about practice over lunch.

Later that kids got to spend the evening with Gram and Paw Paw. M was in heaven she loves to spend time with her "Mam". While the kids were having a good time with the grandparents D and I headed to a trivia night with his family. It was a lot of and while we did not win we were not the worst! I ate way to much but all the food was so good it was hard to resist and there were rice krispie treats and some how they managed to be right in front of me so I had to eat one or two (okay maybe five they are my weakness!)

Sunday was the Superbowl so we all went to Grandma and Grandpa B's for a Superbowl party. M was a bit disappointed that it was not a Hello Kitty party but in fact a football party. As soon as we were there she could careless what kind of party it was because there was food, lot and lots off food and if you know M she LOVES to eat! After an evening consisting of a Giants win and far to much food (aka sugar) it was time to head home. This was not what L and M wanted to hear but tough, this momma was tired!

It was a busy weekend with a few late nights but in the end it was fun and spent the best way possible, with family!
