Well with L's 4th birthday fast approaching and his birthday party coming up right behind it I needed to start deep cleaning the house. Easier said than done! About 6 months ago my dining room was taken over by my sewing/embroidery machine and all the essentials that go with it. So that was the biggest hurdle, where to go with it all so that my dining room could be just that a dining room.Thankfully I have amazing family and my dad and brother came to the rescue and installed some new electric in the basement for me. I was able to collect 2 old unwanted tables and I had a few organizational items of my own. Now I am the proud owner of a brand new craft space all to myself and not taking up space need for other uses! (and as an added bonus if it becomes and unsightly mess you have to go out of your way too see it instead of just walking in the front door like before.)
While the craft space assembly and dining room clean out were starting to take shape I realized I never painted the small hallway leading to the half bath on the main floor so one afternoon while both kids napped I remedied that problem and painted the walls! This then started a chain reaction ................... (more on these adventures later)
This is NOT my dining room, I was to embarrassed to take a picture but this gives you an idea of what mine could have looked like at some point.

I found the picture here
My I proudly present to you my currently clean and organized new craft space!
Yes, I am aware it is nothing to exciting but it is mine, all mine! I a hoping I can eventually move all of my ribbon and bows to this space as well. Yep, I have a separate space with all of my bow making supplies for Molly Bug's Bowtique and that is another mess for another day.
