I know a bit late but on Valentines day the kids painted initial hearts to add to the collection of artwork displayed in the house.
We started to plain white hearts. I then used painters tape to put their initial in the middle of the heart.
We used some washable paints
and some homemade glitter. Recipe found

next we had to let the paint dry
and last but not least we peeled the tape off and hung up the new paintings for all to see.
