We spent a week at the Clubhouse, which is simply a not so fancy house on the Meramec river.
A mom, a dad and two active kids..... just a glimpse at the craziness we call life.

Where has the time gone
Yes, I know it has been a few weeks since I have posted. First I was getting ready for M's 3rd birthday bash and then my computer broke and as soon as I got it back it was time for a vacation. Now that we are back and my brother is awesome and fixed my computer I will have to play catch up! Get ready for a picture overload :)

Adventures in sewing
I have been sewing up a storm the past two days. I have a lot of fabric just hanging out waiting to be made into something fun so I decided not to disappoint. Here are just a few of the items I made.
Above are a sample of the 9x16 burp cloths and below is one of several security blankets or 'lovey' as my kids call them
I have even sold a few already!
I sell my items here :)

Working hard
We spent sometime cleaning out the basement and moving some big
furniture around. It was the perfect opportunity for L to work at his
work bench.
of course M wanted to work too
Happy Birthday
Yesterday my sweet little M turned THREE!
I can't believe she is three already, seems like just yesterday my 5lb 15oz little princess arrived.

The kitchen was decorated and readyfor the birthday girl
I love this picture of her walking into the kitchen to see her presents and the decorations
I started a tradition in our house to have cupcakes for breakfast on a birthday
and I was not gonna disappoint so we had pink cupcakes!
(The red plate M is eating off of is a tradition I grew up with, we still use the red plate at my parents on our birthday!)
A new game
and a new doll
were a few of her gifts.
After our morning celebrating M's birthday with our little family of 4 we headed off to the park for a family reunion. We celebrated some more and the kids got to enjoy some water play in a giant sprinkler. Lucky them since we were on day 10 of 100+ degree heat.
We ended the day with a little swimming, some dinner and ice cream cones.
I hope her day was as special to her and she is to me. Love you my little bug!
