6 years

Today D and I celebrated out sixth wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been 6 years and look forward to the next 60. In the last 6 years we have accomplished a lot. The day we were married we also officially moved into our first house. Now 6 years later we are in our second house since our now family of 4 outgrew our first home. Never in a million years could I have imagined what it would be like to have my very own family..... I must say I would not trade it for the world. My family is my everything and much of that is because of the amazing example my parents set for me and my siblings growing up. Without the unconditional love and support of my family I would not be the person I am today.

Life is a roller coaster but I have my best friend at my side for the ride so I try to enjoy the ride.

Exersice

With all this beautiful weather the kids have been getting plenty of exersice outside, so today I decided to get some too. We have a nice trial very close to our house the you can walk up to 4 miles on. Bonus: parts of it are close enough we can see the river! So today I loaded up the kids and the double stroller and set out on a 2 mile walk. There was a nice breeze but man when it blew just the right direction it added A LOT of resistance to the stroller 65lbs of kids + the weight if the stroller + the wind = one heck of an arm workout! My arms might be sore from pushing all that weight. Of course we had to stop an check out the river and as we approached there were about 12 soft shell (I believe) turtles sun bathing on a log, but with all the noise the kids were making the quickly jumped into the water to hide? We stayed and watch a while and did see a few poke their head above water but none climbed back on the log. We are all excited to go back another day and look for the turtles again!

Spring already?

Spring has sprung already? It is only mid March and we are in the Midwest, this is not normal. I am not complaining I love spring!

Mosquito bites and trikes

Mosquito bites already? The weather has been gorgeous the last few days so naturally we have been spending time outside and the kids favorite activity is riding bikes.

 

L got on his bike and started riding it like it was second nature, I was amazed. M has been practicing on the trike in the basement for months and does a great job, she can now make it all the way around the circle in front of the house. 

and as the title suggest I got a mosquito bite.... in March!! CrAzY
